The last of our driftwood from last spring’s rains
I had other things to do including replacing the cable on my dock so I figured I’d burn the wood. I’ve noticed that the water level is starting to come up.

To provide more space and keep things from being lost behind the machines I built a plywood shelf. It’s supported on the walls with about an inch clearance. I biscuited some hardwood to the front edge so the corners could be eased.

Outdoor music in Dandridge
After lots of bad weather it was really nice to get a good night and have some outdoor music to boot. We drove up to Dandridge to meet up with some friends.
Lewes Beach
What could be better than playing at the beach? Well, okay, water temps warmer than the 62 degrees we had.
There were some people out in spite of the cool temps.
I grew up calling these sand fiddlers. One day I’ll look it up.
Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel
We drove up to Delaware via this to avoid DC and its traffic. Much better scenery too. It was a nice drive but long. We saw huge numbers of cicadas flying around but I managed not to collect any on the car. Several times I found myself dodging my head around.. inside the car which I kept straight.

Truly March Madness
Snow March 25th is crazy enough but we were outside in SHORTS on the 24th. We ended up with several days of snow that didn’t amount to anything but did coat our deck a few times.
